The England midfielder completed his English record transfer of £105 million to Arsenal from West Ham earlier today.

The first film of Declan Rice at Arsenal has been made public after the midfielder's £105 million transfer from West Ham.

The Arsenal team was gathered at their practice facility for a speech from Mikel Arteta in a video that was live-streamed on the team's YouTube site on Saturday.

Rice wants to win trophies

During the first team meeting and introduction to the team Declan Rice was asked to say a few words to the team.

Arteta started as reported by Daily Mail, by saying, “Okay, good morning everyone. Before we start the review with what happened in Germany I would like to welcome our additions to the club, our family. Declan, welcome to the family.”

Rice offered to address the Arsenal players while seated close to his international teammate Aaron Ramsdale.

Rice said, “Obviously on the first day, I'm really looking forward to playing with you all, to sharing many good moments together. 

“I've been seeing what you guys have been doing the last couple of seasons so I'm really looking forward to getting started and hopefully enjoying a few trophies together.”

Arteta welcomes recent arrival Jurrien Timber

Jurrien Timber, who recently completed a £40 million transfer from Ajax, was also welcomed to Arsenal by Arteta.

Timber responded to Arteta’s introduction by saying it is an honour to join the North London club.

New signing Jurrien Timber said as reported by Daily Mail, “It's an honour to be here and I can't wait to play with you guys.”

The Gunners will go to the United States to complete their preseason preparations for the next season. There, they will play three pre-season friendlies.
