Disappointed fans 'stone' Neymar with Popcorn after Brazil drew with Venezuela
Neymar was the subject of assault from a Brazilian fan after they drew against Venezuela in their CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers.
The 31-year-old is the record scorer for the Selecao but was missing his shooting boots in the draw against La Vinotinto, as he was unable to inspire his team to victory.
Neymar assisted Brazil's goal, setting up Arsenal's Gabriel Maghalaes; however, a late Eduard Bello strike for Venezuela meant both parties shared the spoils.
Neymar attacked by fan
Brazil are not in their best moment, as they have only won four of their last nine games, losing four and drawing one.
However, they hosted Venezuela at the Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba, Brazil, off the back of two victories in the qualifier.
The draw meant they failed to make it three in three and have now fallen behind Argentina, who maintained a 100 per cent record in qualifiers with a victory over Paraguay.
This angered a certain fan, who took it out on the country's captain, hurling a tub of popcorn at the Al-Hilal star, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Neymar was clearly enraged by this act and was seen shouting at someone in the stands before his teammates moved to encourage him to enter the tunnel.
