Following their semifinal victory over Senegal, D’Tigress playfully referenced a $100,000 cash reward on their X (Twitter) platform after securing a final spot at the 2025 FIBA Women’s Afrobasket.

“We’re practising for President Tinubu’s $100,000,” D'Tgress posted.
