Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola praised Erling Haaland, stating that the striker silenced his critics with the only goal in their 1-0 victory over Brentford.

Haaland fired blanks in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea last Saturday despite having nine attempts and was roundly criticised for his performance.
He bounced back with a fine goal in the 1-0 win over Brentford and Guardiola believes he has answered the critics.
