Crystal Palace forward Michael Olise has earned more plaudits for a remarkable season so far after he came up with yet another assist for the Eagles against Bournemouth.
Olise breaks all-time Crystal Palace Premier League record
Olise provided Crystal Palace’s second goal in a 2-0 Premier League win over the Cherries as he found Eberechi Eze with a brilliant cross-field pass before the winger found the net with a blistering drive.
The assist for Eze was Olise’s 10th in the 2022/23 Premier League campaign, helping him to a Crystal Palace record.

With the assist against Bournemouth, Olise became the first Eagles player to reach double figures for assists in a single Premier League season, surpassing the record previously shared with Wayne Routledge and Wilfred Zaha, who both had career highs of nine assists.
Olise could potentially replace Messi at PSG
With three Premier League games still to go, he could end up extending that record beyond the current mark of ten to put some gloss on an already remarkable season.
Olise’s phenomenal season, which has seen him contribute directly to 12 goals in 29 Premier League starts, has not gone unnoticed, as the Crystal Palace forward is reportedly being courted by European giants Paris-Saint Germain.
The French club is reportedly interested in a summer move for the Crystal Palace winger as a possible replacement for Lionel Messi, who is expected to leave the club this summer.
