Edna Imade crowned best in Spain: Super Falcons star enters 2025 with POTM award
Super Falcons of Nigeria star striker Edna Imade was chosen as the best player in Spain.
Imade won the December Liga de Fútbol Femenino Player of the Month award in the First Division.
During the reviewed month, the 24-year-old scored three goals and assisted Grenada Femenino.
The uncapped Imade, who was born in Morocco, is a sensation in Spain's women's premier division this season
Granada has 19 points after 13 game rounds, which keeps them in sixth place in the table thanks to Imade's effort.

Imade missed out of the Super Falcons team to for their friendly loss to France but is expected to be called up in 2025.
The Nigerian striker has scored in five straight games for Granada before the end of 2024.
Omade would find the back of the net for Granada after her strikes against Badalona, Levante and Deportivo.
Imade has nine league goals this season and is now the second-top scorer in the league behind Barcelona's Ewa Pajor.
On January 12, 2025, Imade returns to action as Granada will travel away to play Real Madrid, who are currently in second place.
