Nwaneri enjoyed an outstanding breakout season under Mikel Arteta, and the contract, believed to be 5 years, is a reward for those performances.
Nwaneri scored nine goals in 37 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side. The quality of his finishing, especially from long range, his close control, and ability to play with calmness and poise quickly endeared him to the Arsenal faithful.
He also frequently excelled out of position on the right wing during Bukayo Saka’s injury lay-off, but showed he can play in attacking midfield for Arteta.
