Ex-Arsenal star David Luiz terminates contract with Brazilian side, set for European return

Brazilian media reports indicate that David Luiz's new destination will be Pafos, the reigning Cypriot champions.

The 36-year-old centre-back is expected to sign a contract until 2028 with the team that includes Portuguese players Domingos Quina, Pêpê Rodrigues, and Alexandre Brito.

This marks David Luiz's return to Europe four years after leaving Arsenal for Flamengo in 2021.

David Luiz will be a significant addition to Pafos as they prepare to face Dynamo Kyiv in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds, starting next Tuesday.
