Fazila Ikwaput: Five of the best - Crested Cranes star continues excellent start in India

Uganda National Women's Football team forward Fazila Ikwaput has extended her impeccable form at Gokulam Kerala FC in India's Women's League.

Ikwaput netted a hattrick as Kerala thrashed East Bengal Women 4-0 on Tuesday.

She scored thrice to hand Gokulam Kerala three priceless points in their chance for the league championship.

The hattrick was only a continuation of Ikwaput's heroics, having bagged a brace on her debut on January 6, as her team trumped Sports Odisha Women 8-0.

Meanwhile, following the Tuesday victory, Gokulam Kerala sits third with 11 points in six games on the seven-team table.

They sit just four points adrift of leaders Odisha FC Women, who have accumulated 15 points in five games.

Meanwhile, Ikwaput joined Gokulam Kerala from FUFA Women's Super League champions Kampala Queens Football Club.
