FC 24 Soundtrack: 20 songs we want to see in EA SPORTS FC’s forthcoming release
As we approach the launch of EA SPORTS FC 24, the conversation about what this year’s soundtrack playlist has already begun amongst fans on social media.
As has been the case with EA, the iconic gaming publishers always release a playlist of global soundtracks ahead of the game’s release.
Despite EA’s split from FIFA, FC 24 isn’t expected to be different.
EA Sports have featured a number of iconic tracks on the now-defunct FIFA franchise, giving fans more reasons to anticipate the release of a title and enjoy the World’s game.
There has also been a lingering conversation about EA playlist selection which has always generated a buzz amongst members of the gaming community.
It’s no secret that EA typically leans less towards globally acclaimed music stars in their playlists, and instead opts for emerging artistes under a diverse number of genres ranging from UK drill to Alternative, RnB, Rap, Afrobeat(s), Indie, and even Soft Rock.
EA’s inclusion policy to help promote emerging acts has very much been lauded as music stars have also enjoyed spikes in their streaming numbers.
However, this is not to say that EA neglects already established musicians as we have already seen the likes of famous global music stars like Bastille, Burna Boy, Stormzy, Skepta, Swedish House Mafia, Rozalia, Rema, Ozuna, amongst others previously feature on EA SPORTS’ FIFA playlist.
Basically, the global soundtrack features massive new music from established artists and hot newcomers, while the VOLTA FOOTBALL soundtrack drives street action with the latest and greatest in grime, electronic and hip-hop.
Ahead of the official release of EA SPORTS FC 24, Pulse Sports has put together a few songs that fans want to see upon the arrival of FIFA’s successor.
Afrobeats is expected to once more continue its run on EA's soundtracks with a few songs expected to get a shout ahead of this year's release next month.
