Former Golden Eaglets star, Tunde Akinsola, has completed a permanent transfer to Portuguese club, AVS Futebol SAD, from Real Valladolid.
The young attacker, who started his football journey from Imota in Lagos, Nigeria, caught the eye of many clubs wiith his talent during his time at Real Valladolid.

According the Lagos Voice, he made his LaLiga debut for the club in May 2023, aged just 20 years and 65 days, in a match against Sevilla.

Akinsola's journey from being a young talent in Nigeria to the Spanish top flight is a testament to his hard work and dedication.
Akinsola expressed his joy after signing the contract, “I’m very happy to be back. It’s been a fantastic few months, and that made my return easier,” he told the club’s official website.
“I feel like I can show my worth in Liga Portugal and help AVS secure their place in the league. I’m very motivated and looking forward to getting started.”
Akinsola hailed from Lagos, and his football journey commenced with Valiant FC, a nationwide league one side. He was part of the Golden Eaglets squad between 2018 and 2019. During this period, he made seven appearances for the Nigerian U-17 team.
His new club, AVS, was founded in 2023 and earned promotion to the Portuguese first tier through last season's second-tier playoffs.
