Former Manchester United star released by Nottingham Forest after dreadful season
Premier League side Nottingham Forest have officially released attacer Jesse Lingard after his contract with the club expired.

The former Manchester United star is among six players released by Forest as the club cuts down on a bloated squad.

Nottingham Forest cut ties with Lingard
Ghana international Andre Ayew, Cafu, Jack Colback, Jordan Smith, and Lyle Taylor join Lingard on the chopping block while Serge Aurier has seen a clause in his deal activated to extend his contract into next season.
Lingard arrived lat summer and was the headline signing of a window that saw the club bring in 22 new faces.

The former Manchester United and West Ham player struggled to make an impact on Steve Cooper’s side, making only 12 starts and five sub appearances in the Premier League.
