Francis Ngannou: Cameroon MMA star dumps Real Madrid for Manchester United ahead of Tyson Fury fight
Cameroonian-French professional mixed martial artist Francis Zavier Ngannou is back on social media trends.
Ngannou isn't shy about expressing his enthusiasm for soccer and the number 7 shirt.
The former UFC champion expressed his happiness at the opportunity to interact with football stars in the US.
Ngannou teams up with Manchester United
Ngannou was in attendance as Manchester United suffered a 2-3 loss to Borussia Dortmund in a Soccer Champions Tour fixture in the early hours of Monday, July 31, 2023.
The outcome of the friendly game, nevertheless, did not appear to live up to Ngannou's expectations.
Diogo Dalot and Antony scored for Manchester United in the pre-season encounter.
Along with a photo in a collaborative post was a message that said, "@manchesterunited’s favorite heavyweight boxer is in the building 😉

Ngannou and Real Madrid
When Real Madrid was on the UCLA campus, Ngannou stopped by and posed for pictures with some of their stars.
Among the Real Madrid stars to pose with Ngannou are Brazil star Vinicius Junior, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Éder Militão.
Ngannou vs Tyson Fury
In January 2022, Ngannou won against Ciryl Gane to defend the UFC Heavyweight championship, and was his final fight with the establishment.
Ngannou made the announcement that he has joined the PFL, an MMA competition not long after formally departing the UFC.
The Predator, as Ngannou is known, is now set to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in a boxing fight scheduled for Saudi Arabia in November.
Ngannou teaming up with Manchester United is a message to his rival Fury who was born in Manchester.
