Frank Onyeka: Super Eagles midfielder gets lovely message from newly-wed wife on 26th birthday

Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Frank Onyeka, recently marked his 26th birthday, and the celebration was made even more special with a heartwarming message from his newly-wedded wife, Mesoma Akaolisa. 

Pulse Sports previously reported the Brentford midfielder was engaged to the beautiful engineer based in Texas, U.S.A.

Mesoma Akaolisa, Frank Onyeka's wife, took to social media to express her love and warm wishes for her husband on his 26th birthday. 

In a heartfelt message on Instagram, she shared admiration for his dedication and their life together as she posted photos of their wedding for the first time since their engagement last year.

She wrote: ‘Wishing a spectacular birthday to the love of my life!  On this first day of the year, know that God deemed you so special that He chose to create a masterpiece right at the beginning. May the year ahead be filled with divine blessings and continued moments of joy. Happy birthday my bestfriend and I love you forever and a day more!’

Mesoma's words painted a picture of a loving and supportive partnership, showcasing the couple's strong bond.

The beautiful engineer was named amongst the most fashionable Nigerian WAGs of 2023.

Pulse Sports reported Onyeka was selected in Jose Peseiro’s final 25-man squad for the AFCON 2023 taking place later this month in Ivory Coast.

This will be Onyeka’s second appearance for the Super Eagles at Africa’s showpiece having made debuted for Nigeria at the tournament in 2022.

The Brentford midfielder received his first call-up for Nigeria in September 2020 for the friendly matches against Algeria and Tunisia in Austria the following month. 

However, Okoye debuted for the Super Eagles in a friendly 1–0 loss to Algeria on 9 October 2020.

He scored his first goal for Nigeria on 16 October 2023, in a 3-2 win over Mozambique.
