Franklin Tebo Uchenna: Nigerian defender joins Peter Olayinka at Red Star Belgrade
Nigerian centre-back Franklin Tebo Uchenna has completed a move to Serbia storied football club Red Star Belgrade.

Uchenna, a 25-year-old defender has signed a three-year contract with Red Star Belgrade.
He will team up with fellow Nigerian Peter Olayinka who has spent the last two seasons at the club.

Uchenna’s early career began in Nigeria at the youth academies of FC Digital Foot, Waco Academy, and Abuja.
He made his senior debut with Nasarawa United before a move to the Swedish club Häcken.
The transfer was following Red Star's progression to the final Champions League play-off round.
Uchenna joins Red Star Belgrade from Sarpsborg for a reported fee of €2.5 million with an additional amount in potential bonuses.
Uchenna has made his debut representing Nigeria in a 4-0 friendly loss to Mexico on July 4, 2021.
At Red Star Belgrade Uchenna will wear the number 30 jersey.
