Shams Charania shared the news about the state of the injury on social media.
He said, "Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will be sidelined through the next week due to a mild calf strain and will miss the NBA All-Star Game next Sunday, sources tell ESPN.
"Antetokounmpo, out since Feb. 2, is expected to return to action shortly after All-Star break."
Although this is undoubtedly a setback for the Bucks, however, it appears that he escaped any extremely serious injuries.
However, the star will miss the Bucks' key run of games leading up to the All-Star game.
Antetokounmpo should receive an update shortly, but for the time being, the club will have to continue without him.
Before the All-Star break, Milwaukee will play three games: the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Golden State Warriors.
