The Super Falcons forward Gift Monday has been voted the Liga F Player of the Month for the month of February in Spain.

The league board declared in a statement on Monday that the player from UD Tenerife had won the honor.

Monday took home the monthly trophy before Caroline Hansen of Barcelona Femeni, Alba Redondo of Real Madrid, Ainhoa Marin of Deportivo Abanca, Ane Azkona of Athletic Club, Ari Mingueza of Granada, and Elba Verges of Eibar.

A few days after scoring another important goal in a 2-0 victory over Sevilla, she scored the game-winning goal in the closing seconds of the team's 2-1 triumph over Valencia on February 9.
During the reviewed period, Monday scored two goals in three games for UD Tenerife.

Tenerife now sits in seventh place with 31 points, six points behind a European spot, thanks to her efforts.
