The Nigeria's U17 Boys National Team known as the Golden Eaglets have left the country to compete in the WAFU-B U17 Boys Tournament in Yamoussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire.

The Eaglets and Mop Stars FC drew 0-0 on Monday in their last friendly match before the competition.

During camp, the team participated in 13 friendly games, winning 10, drawing 2, and losing just one.

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets are set for the WAFU-B U17 Boys Tournament as they arrive in Yamoussoukro.

The team is in Group B with Burkina Faso and also Benin Republic with two teams progressing to the knockout stages.

On Wednesday, September 24, the five-time world champions will play the Benin Republic's Baby Cheetahs to start the tournament.

Ghana, Togo, Niger Republic, and host country Cote d'Ivoire are in Group A.

The Stade du Lycée Scientifique in Yamoussoukro, which was built for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and features natural turf, will host the matches.
