Governor Adeleke celebrates D'Tigress star Olawuyi Adenike Olayemi for Afrobasket triumph
The celebration continues for Nigeria's senior women's basketball team known as D'Tigress.
D'Tigress defeated Senegal to win the 2023 FIBA Women's Afrobasket title in Kigali, Rwanda.
It was the fourth straight Afrobasket title for D'Tigress despite Head Coach Rena Wakama being appointed weeks before the start of the tournament.
