Haaland sends emotional message to Man City fans after Crystal Palace draw

Erling Haaland has sent an emotional message to Manchester City fans after the draw against Crystal Palace.

Manchester City's hopes of closing the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool were dealt a blow after a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

City had to come from behind on two occasions to pick a point against Crystal Palace. Erling Haaland scored one goal, while Rico Lewis netted the other.

However, Lewis's dismissal late in the game added to City's frustrations.

After the game, Haaland posted on social media to appreciate fans for their support despite the club's stalemate.

"Thank you for the support as always, Cityzens, onto Wednesday 🙏🏻💪🏻," Haaland posted on social media after the match.

Manchester City missed an opportunity to gain ground in the Premier League on Saturday, as they dropped points while Liverpool's match against Everton was postponed due to adverse weather affecting travel for fans.

With Liverpool not playing, City had a chance to close the gap at the top of the table but couldn't take it.

City's next challenge is a Champions League clash against Juventus. This is an important game that Pep Guardiola must win for the club to advance to the knockout stages.
