Arteta's men started brightly, with Bukayo Saka's curled effort narrowly missing the target inside the opening 5 minutes.
The Gunners maintained momentum and opened the scoring after Leandro Trossard's pinpoint cross found Kai Havertz, who nodded home on 20 minutes.
PSG's brief resurgence, marked by Nuno Mendes' post-rattling shot and David Raya's save from Achraf Hakimi, was swiftly snuffed out as Saka's free-kick evaded everyone, beating Gianluigi Donnarumma to make it 2-0.
The second half followed a familiar pattern as the Gunners continued to dominate with PSG playing on the fringes.
Luis Enrique's men made a late push and the best they could muster was a weak effort by Lee Kang-in that was comfortably saved.
Arsenal eased to victory, leapfrogging a poor PSG in the Champions League table, and sending a strong message to doubters in the process.
Arteta's men host Southampton on Saturday, while PSG return to Ligue 1 action against OGC Nice on Sunday.
