In an interview with Greek media, via Sportal, Stefanos Tsitsipas made an interesting statement following criticism from Goran Ivanisevic.

"It's simple, and it's not. I've spoken with him many times. If he can resolve some off-court issues, then he has a chance to return to where he belongs because he's too good a player to be outside the top 10. If he can't, he has no chance.

"My job is to fix some technical aspects of his game on the court, that's the easiest part. The rest, he has to do himself. Will he succeed? I sincerely hope so, whether I'm there or not," Ivanisevic said.

"When I work with the right people, people I choose, and who make me feel relaxed, that's the right environment. It doesn't mean I'm going to stop training whenever I want or decide how much to train.

"There are people who understand how hard we work and what we want to achieve, but they manage to maintain a friendly atmosphere. It's very difficult to have a dictator and people who speak negatively about you, and you don't feel close to them like family."
