I want to stay at Chelsea until I die — Pochettino reveals ahead of Tottenham clash
Ahead of the game against the team where he made his name in the Premier League, Tottenham, Mauricio Pochettino declared his unifying love for Chelsea and his desire to stay at the club for the duration of his career.
The former Espanyol boss joined the West London club this summer after a difficult spell at Paris Saint Germain. He has immediately taken to life at Stamford Bridge, and he says he wants to be at the club for a long time.
What Pochettino said
Pochettino says he wants to stay at Chelsea until he retires, but explains that should he be out of the job, he will be open to returning to Tottenham.
“Hopefully, I can stay at Chelsea until I die! 20 or 25 years, but you never know in football,” Pochettino said, per Fabrizio Romano.
“It Tottenham is a club, for sure, if I’m not working... so maybe if they want me one day, why not?”
Hayes is the most successful manager in Women's Super League history, having led Chelsea to 15 trophies in 11 years at the club.
