I want to win everything- Lamine Yamal sets sights on World Cup, Champions League

Barcelona's prodigious talent, Lamine Yamal, has openly declared his burning ambition to add the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League titles to his rapidly expanding collection.

At just 18 years old, Yamal already boasts a trophy cabinet that many seasoned professionals can only dream of.

"Turning 18, I wish to achieve everything we had at 16 and 17, with the title we're missing, the Champions League, and also the World Cup," Yamal candidly told Barcelona's official website.

He added, "Those are the ones I'm missing. My mindset tells me I have to go out and win. I'm not thinking about how many years I've got ahead - I want to win now. I'll try and give everything to make it happen. I just want to tell the fans that we'll be there, fighting, and the Champions League will come home. The World Cup too."

Yamal's meteoric rise since his breakthrough in the 2023-24 season has been nothing short of phenomenal.

The dazzling winger has directly contributed to an astounding 53 goals in 106 appearances for Barcelona across all competitions.

His impressive haul of accolades includes four major honours with Barcelona, notably securing a domestic treble last year that saw the Spanish giants clinch La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
