Ighalo beats Ronaldo to Saudi League Team of the Season spot
The Saudi Professional Football League have released the team of the season, and Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo was a conspicuous omission.
Despite setting the league alight with 14 goals in 16 appearances since joining in January, the former Real Madrid star failed to take a place in the best 11 of the season.

Ronaldo's Al-Nassr lost the title to Al-Ittihad, earning Nuno Espirito Santos' men five spots on the team of the season.
Although he had a brilliant second half of the season, the Portugal international failed to make the team ahead of Nigeria's Odion Ighalo, who led Al-Hilal to a third-place finish.
The former Watford striker scored 19 times this season, finishing behind Anderson Talisca and Abderrazak Hamdellah in the top scorer's ranking, but his overall performance earned him a spot over the pair.
