Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive Celtic revival by firing the opener from the penalty spot in a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over Motherwell.
The Nigerian forward, who joined the Hoops on a free transfer from Sevilla, coolly slotted home in the 27th minute for his third goal in just five appearances across all competitions.

Iheanacho makes case to Eric Chelle with latest goal
The victory was vital for Celtic, and particularly Iheanacho. His goal came just days after he was surprisingly omitted from Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle's 23-man squad for the decisive 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.
The Super Eagles receiving a lifeline from a FIFA sanction against South Africa, which means goal difference could become a factor, a situation that could have been helped by the presence f Iheanacho on current form.
The 28-year-old has contributed three goals and an assist in six Celtic outings, sending a clear message to Chelle that he still has a lot to offer.
Celtic are now just two points behind Hearts in the race for the title, and travel to Dundee after the international break.
