The Super Eagles of Nigeria are back in the spotlight once again.
The senior men's national football Nigeria are back on the trends ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Super Eagles brand Let's Go Again
The three-time champions of the Africa Cup of Nations, the Super Eagles of Nigeria, declared that they would use the catchphrase "Let's Do It Again" to propel them to a fourth title in Cote d'Ivoire early in 2019.
The idea was made and overwhelmingly accepted prior to the final AFCON 2023 qualification match in Uyo last month between the Falcons and True Parrots of Sao Tome & Principe.
After the game, which The Eagles won 6-0 at Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the players and officials wore t-shirts with the slogan.
In addition to the finals in South Africa in 2013 and Tunisia in 1994, Nigeria won the 1980 AFCON that it hosted.
Team captain William Ekong claims that the playing group and crew have accepted the new chant.
The African Cup of Nations is exactly 90 days from today, I personally will be following and cheering the team to victory because I believe we have what it takes to bring the trophy home, and I hope you too will be supporting.
