'I'm feeling the pressure' — Patrick Viera on Crystal Palace's form
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Viera has expressed concern for the Eagles' recent form, admitting that he feels the pressure from poor results.
Crystal Palace are currently 12th in the Premier League, a mid-table position, but they are only three points above the drop, having failed to win a game this year.
What Viera said
Crystal Palace face Brighton tomorrow at the AmEx, and Viera spoke in a press conference ahead of the match.
He explained that Palace needed to start winning games, as the table was an honest reflection of their post-World Cup form.
He admitted that they had enough quality to turn ties in their favour, and he is feeling the pressure of the relegation battle as much as the other bottom nine managers, who are only separated by five points.
"The table doesn't lie, we need to win games," Viera said, per the BBC.
"We need to play in a better way and to score goals."
"We have the quality to improve our game I'm feeling the pressure like the other nine managers in the table. This is part of the game."
"Every game is important. This is the special one, we know how much it means to the football club and the fans." 💪

Palace's poor form
Crystal Palace have failed to win any game this year, with their last victory coming on the last day of 2022, a 2-0 victory against Bournemouth, which was eleven matches ago.
Palace's struggles have been contributed to their struggling offence which has worsened in recent games, as they failed to muster any shots on target in any of their last three games, albeit against difficult opponents in Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Liverpool.
