'I'm not gonna lie' - Noah Lyles begs for sponsorship deal to rival Sha'Carri Richardson
World's fastest man Noah Lyles has openly begged for a sponsorship deal to rival Sha'Carri Richardson's endorsement.
The American speedster was defeated in his season opener at the Racers Grand Prix as homeboy Oblique Seville blazed to a lifetime best of 9.82s and Lyles finished second in 9.85s. He is now seeking a headphone sponsorship.
"I'm not gonna lie I need a headphone sponsor," wrote Lyles on his X page.

His open admission is tantamount to rivaling Richardson, who is signed with premium audio gadgets brand Beats by Dre.
The world's fastest woman has been on a roll of bagging lucrative endorsement deals this season, and with Beats, she is part of a campaign for their new Solo 4 headphones and wireless earbuds, which also features Angel Reese, and Naomi Osaka as the faces of the promotion.
The three ladies were chosen based on their influence in their various sports as the world's fastest woman, a WNBA Chicago Sky basketball star, and a multiple Grand Slam winner.
Lyles is also signed with a few brands such as Celsius Live Fit Energy Drink.
He is scheduled to compete next at the New York Grand Prix on June 9 in the men's 200m, where he'll be gunning to not just bounce back to winning ways but clock a new world-leading time.
