Israel Adesanya goes to Sleep: Nassourdine Imavov knocks out Nigerian Stylebender in UFC Saudi Arabia
Nassourdine Imavov and Israel Adesanya faced off in a middleweight bout at UFC Saudi Arabia, which took place inside the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Adesanya looked engaged in both emotionally and physically, starting the fight with a devastating sequence of kicks.
Imavov tried a double leg punch, evaded a counterhook, and pressed behind his jab.
In his third UFC main event in four fights, Imavov defeated former middleweight champion Adesanya with a swarming knockout 30 seconds into the second round, following a close first round versus a previous champion.
Adesanya complained of an eye poke in the second, which resulted in a temporary halt, but the fight went on.

Imavov dropped Adesanya on the canvas after drilling him with his right hand as proceedings resumed.
A left uppercut along the cage followed as Imavov was quick pounce on him on the fence.
It ended in a stunner after Imavov delivered a few more blows to end the fight with a knockout win.
The defeat means it will now be very difficult for Adesanya to climb up the ranks and challenge for the Middleweight title.
