Sha'Carri Richardson is happy to be healthy and competing again following an impressive outing in the 100m heats at the ongoing 2025 USA Track and Field Championships.
The American sprint queen clocked an impressive Season's Best (SB) of 11.07s to finish second behind training partner Kayla White, who stormed to a new Personal Best (PB) of 10.89s.

This was her first race since the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League, and only her third race of the season, after an injury setback earlier in the year derailed her training progression.
Speaking after her 100m heats at the US Championships, Richardson revealed her excitement finishing another healthy race and lowering her best time of the season so far.
"It felt amazing. Being able to compete, feeling healthy, going out there and executing no matter what, just being the best athlete that I can be, and doing that with a great team around me with great training partners.
"Today felt amazing just to run a qualifying, you know show fitness and take the rest of the time to get ready for Tokyo," she said in an interview with DyeStat.
Richardson will head to the semifinals aiming to run a faster time and be in the sub-11s range, which will boost her confidence ahead of a possible final and for the rest of the season.
As the reigning world champion, she has a bye to compete in the 100m at the World Championships in Tokyo, where she'll be hoping to be in her best shape to defend her title.
Richardson is also scheduled to race in the 200m at the USA Track and Field Championships, which begins on Saturday, August 2.
