How Verstappen won the Italian Grand Prix
Verstappen secured his victory at the Italian Grand Prix with a dominant drive, overcoming an early challenge from McLaren's Lando Norris.
After starting from pole position, Verstappen momentarily lost the lead to Norris on the first lap.
But the defending world champion quickly regained the position by lap four and then began to build a significant gap.
His Red Bull car performed exceptionally well on the high-speed Monza circuit, allowing him to manage his pace and pull away from the McLaren duo.
By the end of the race, Verstappen had a comfortable lead of over 19 seconds.
The victory was his third of the season and his first since the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in May.
