Her current season is far from ideal. The coach spoke to Czech media about the decision.

This season has been challenging for Karolina Muchova. Despite a promising start, reaching the semifinals in Linz and Dubai, her form dipped significantly.

A wrist injury hampered her progress, and her performance upon returning to the court hasn't matched her previous levels.

She'll undoubtedly want to put her recent Grand Slam performances behind her. First-round exits at both Roland Garros and Wimbledon have prompted a coaching change.

"Thank you, Emile, it's been a special journey! I am grateful for everything we've shared on and off the court. Time for a new chapter!" Muchova posted on social media.

Miske commented on Karolina's decision to Czech media, "Our partnership was a fantastic period, culminating in her reaching world number eight. I'm happy we reached that milestone together and remain on good terms. I thank Karolina for our time together and wish her all the best for the future."

Muchova and Miske first collaborated in 2017, working together until 2020. Their most recent stint lasted just under three years.

In addition to her top-eight ranking, Muchova reached the finals of both Roland Garros and the US Open in 2023.
