Despite his scheduled bout with Mike Tyson, Jake Paul has stated that he wants to face Canelo Alvarez next.
On Friday night, Paul and Tyson square off in a contentious event in Texas that is officially sanctioned as a professional fight.
Paul has only faced three reputable boxers in his 11 contests so far.

Paul is still focusing on Canelo, the former undisputed super-middleweight champion who still holds the WBA, WBC, and WBO titles at 168 pounds.
Canelo, a four-weight world champion, has never fought over 175 pounds and does not currently have a cruiserweight world title.
He lost to Dmitry Bivol in 2022 when he stepped up to compete at light-heavyweight, but he is still one of the biggest pound-for-pound stars in the sport.
