James Nnaji shines as Barcelona books playoff spot against Valencia

In the final game of the league's regular season, Barcelona defeated UCAM Murcia 86-57 to maintain its lead in the standings going into the postseason.

Nigerian professional basketball player James Ugochukwu Nnaji was in action for Barcelona against Murcia.

The 18-year-old came off the bench to play for nine minutes and provided a spark for Barcelona.

He recorded four points from two shots and grabbed three rebounds in his cameo

The League Play-offs are now the Blaugrana's next obstacle to overcome. 

Jasikevicius' club will need to defeat Valencia and up to three more teams to win the championship. 

In the quarterfinals, Barcelona will play Valencia, and Baskonia will take on Joventut.

Real Madrid, the current EuroLeague champion, will square off against Gran Canaria for a place in the semifinals, as well as Lenovo Tenerife and Unicaja.

Beginning on May 27, the quarterfinals will be a best-of-three series.
