Vinicius Jr. has joined Jay-Roc Z's Nation Sports as they seek to expand their brand recognition in Brazil.

Jay-Roc Z's Nation Sports, which was established in 2013 has now launched an operation in Brazil.

The company recently bought the Brazilian TFM Agency which has over 100 players including Arsenal's star player Gabriel Martinelli.

The Brazilian star becomes the newest member to be signed by Roc Nation as he joins the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne.

Roc Nation president confirms Vinicius Jr. signing

The president of Roc Nation Sports released a statement confirming that Vinicius Jr. has joined the company.

Roc Nation Sports founder and president Juan Perez said in a statement on the company's website as reported by Daily Mail, “In terms of football, Brazil is the centre of it all.

“I strongly identify with a culture that has such an incredible passion for sport and music. Our influence in this game is growing and this move shows our intentions to the world.”

Soon after meeting Jay-Z in May, the two posed for a picture which the Brazilian forward posted on his Instagram, Vinicius joined Roc Nation.

The 22-year-old wrote "LEGEND," along with a handshake and a goat emoji to show he is now part of the company.

Jay-Z building a reputation in sport

For a couple of years, Jay-Z has carved out a career in sports in addition to his incredible 24 Grammy awards.

Last year, he was also connected to Jeff Bezos' unsuccessful attempt to purchase the Commanders, who were eventually purchased by Sixers owner Josh Harris.

As reported by Daily Mail, Jay-Z also played a significant role in the Nets' move from New Jersey to Brooklyn before he left the team.

From 2004 to 2013, the rapper owned a minority stake in the Nets and sold his stake, before founding Roc Nation Sports.
