He has now called upon K'Ogalo fans to engage in the club's journey this season actively.
"As Saturday approaches, a new chapter begins. We warmly invite you, our cherished fans, to join us at Kasarani Stadium as Gor Mahia embarks on its quest for another KPL title," McKinstry shared via Twitter.

Gor Mahia will commence their campaign at home against Sofapaka at the Kasarani Stadium, with the kickoff scheduled for 3 pm.
CAF Champions League Setback
Jonathan McKinstry's team is currently grappling with their exit from the CAF Champions League. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) disqualified them due to violations of player contract terms.
CAF invalidated Gor Mahia's club licensing certificate following the club's failure to fulfil payment commitments to three former players from Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Mali.
Reports suggest that the club's management subsequently opted against signing foreign players this season, although Ugandan striker Patrick Kaddu remains part of the team.
