Kevin Durant, a star player for the Phoenix Suns, has released his first rap song, "Scared Money," in collaboration with rapper Stalley.
Following this breakthrough performance, Durant's career as an athlete-rapper expanded to include hip-hop music.
Kevin Durant opens his verse in the song by talking about his recently deceased grandmother.
Milwaukee Bucks player Damian Lillard has been seeking a career as a rapper, even before Durant released his debut single.
In August 2023, Lillard's 15-track rap album "Don D.O.L.L.A." was published.
Many fans expressed their admiration for KD's musical prowess and were astonished by Durant's line in his debut single, "Scared Money."
There were also fans who likened Durant's rap song to one by Lillard.

Despite the fact that this is KD's debut rap track, he has prior experience in the music industry.
He was previously given credit on an album released a few months earlier by Drake, a well-known hip-hop artist.
The former MVP was acknowledged by the devoted Toronto Raptors supporter on his most recent album, "For All the Dogs."
