Kings' De'Aaron Fox in race against time to be fit for Game 5 against Warriors
The Sacramento Kings said in a news release on Monday night that X-ray imaging had revealed an avulsion fracture in De'Aaron Fox's left index finger. He was subsequently listed as doubtful for Game 5.

According to ESPN, Fox would need to play with a protective covering on the finger if he were passed fit to play. As Fox is left-handed, this would significantly hamper his ability to shoot and finish at the rim.
Fox has followed up an exceptional regular season with a stellar postseason, averaging 31.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in his playoff debut.
He scored 38 points in nearly 40 minutes in Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Warriors.
The series returns to Sacramento for Game 5 tied at 2-2.
