Nigerian Afrobeats continues to make its way into the international football scene.

Weeks after Rema gave a sensational performance at the Ballon d'Or ceremony, Nigerian music is making waves once again.

Players from Fleetwood United along with a Nigerian coach were seen showcasing their dance moves as they grooved to the song "Cough (Odo)" by Nigerian Afrobeats artist Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage name, Kizz Daniel.

Although the song was initially published as a single in 2022, it was included in the album Maverick, which was released in 2023.

The song has gone viral and is well-known both in West Africa and worldwide.

The hit song topped both local and international charts, and it came with a particular dance that fans all over the world reproduced.

Ayere Sylvester, a Nigerian coach, was seen dancing to the song with a few Fleetwood United players in a widely circulated video on social media, which was owned by Fly Boy Entertainment.

The manager confessed they were enjoying their third straight victory and posted the footage to Instagram.

Nigerian football supporters responded to the viral video with great enthusiasm on X (formerly known as Twitter).

This is not the first time Kizz Daniel will be involved with football as he recently explained his absence at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) draw.
