Lamine Yamal beats Real Madrid star and Barcelona target to LALIGA Young Player of the Season
Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been named the young player of the season for his exploit for LALIGA runner-up Barcelona at a teen age.

LALIGA announced their end-of-the-season awards today via their official channels, and Barcelona’s Yamal was dubbed the best young player of the season in the Spanish top-flight
Aged 16, Yamal established himself as a key component of Xavi Hernandez’s Barcelona that finished second in LALIGA with 85 points, three shy of their league-winning tally of 88 points last season.
Although Yamal made his debut last season, it was in this campaign he truly blossomed, establishing himself as one of the best players in his position and a starter for the Blaugrana.

Despite being only 16 years old, Yamal racked up a whopping 2195 minutes across 37 league games for Barcelona this season underscoring his importance to Xavi’s setup.
The teenager directly contributed to 10 goals for Barcelona this season in LALIGA, scoring 5 and assisting another 5.
The Young Player award is given to the best player under the age of 23 and the Spain international winger beats the likes of Arda Guler (Real Madrid), Salvio (Girona), Johnny Cardoso (Real Betis ), Nico Williams (Athletic Club), Yann couto (Girona), Take kubo (Real Sociedad) Pau Cubarsi (Barcelona), Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Miguel Gutierrez (Real Madrid ) and Javi Guerra (Valencia).
