Lautaro continues to threaten Osimhen's Golden Boot in Inter's victory

Argentina international star Lautaro Martinez continued his exceptional form in front of goal, finding the back of the net in Inter's triumph over Atalanta. 

The Nerrazurri hosted Gian Piero Gasperini's men as they looked to ensure a second-place finish and carry momentum into the Champions League final against Manchester City. 

It was Lautaro who was the star of the show once again at the Guiseppe Meazza, as he kept himself in the race for the Capocannoniere against Victor Osimhen.

Inter, buoyed by the Coppa Italia victory, started the game in the best way possible, grabbing an opener in the very first minute of the game when Lautaro Martinez set up Romelu Lukaku. 

It became two only two minutes later, with Nicolo Barella finishing cleanly.

It looked to be game, set, match with the favourites hitting a quick-fire double, but Atalanta found their footing, and Mario Pasalic pulled one back in the 36th minute. 

Inter regained control and had many chances to score before Lautaro Martinez finally made it three, scoring his 21st goal of the season, two behind scoring leader Victor Osimhen. 

Atalanta threatened a late comeback, and an Andre Onana own goal in the 91st minute helped, but the Champions League finalists held their own and clinched the three points.
