Liverpool captain urges club to sign English star

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has said it ‘would be amazing' if the club are able to sign Borussia Dortmund star midfielder, Jude Bellingham.

Jude Bellingham has become one of the most sought-after footballers in the world Europe’s best clubs are all sniffing around. 

The England international has racked up 200 career appearances for club and country which is testament to his high fitness levels and incredible consistency.

Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Manchester City are all believed to be heavily interested in acquiring Bellingham’s services with recent reports indicating Manchester City are leading the race.

According to 90 min, Bellingham has huge fans at Anfield, and his growing friendship with Liverpool players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson has led to growing speculation that a move to Anfield might be on the cards.

“I’m sure he’ll sit down with his family in the future to decide what route he wants to take. Whatever route that is or whatever club that is, that will be a lucky club to have him. His potential is through the roof, really. He can be as good as he wants to be,” Henderson said this week.

“He's got the right mentality, which is the most important thing. He’s really special and I can't believe his age and his mentality – how he applies himself to training and games.

"I've never seen it before so I'm pretty confident he'll be a pretty good player for many years to come.”

Jude Bellingham has contributed 10 goals and 5 assists in 34 appearances this season.
