Liverpool are on the verge of their second summer signing as the Reds have moved quickly to acquire Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, he will be their second addition following Jeremy Frimpong.
The Hungarian has reportedly agreed personal terms with Liverpool, and the Merseyside club is now in the final stages of negotiations with the Cherries for the international full-back.
The fee is expected to be in the region of €40-45 million, compared to the €35 million paid for Frimpong.
Kerkez's potential move to Anfield appears likely to impact the future of Kostas Tsimikas, who could depart this summer. Premier League clubs such as Leeds and Fulham have already shown interest in the Greek left-back.
Liverpool is also reportedly close to signing Florian Wirtz for a fee nearing €150 million, which would be a club-record transfer.
