'Make us proud' - Tinubu makes presidential request to Flying Eagles
The Flying Eagles' outstanding performance in the currently-running Under-20 World Cup in Argentina has been praised by President Bola Tinubu.
In the round of 16 of the 2023 FIFA World Cup, the Flying Eagles defeated Argentina in an astounding 2-0 triumph.
With the victory, the Flying has earned a spot in the quarterfinals.
Tinubu communicates with the Flying Eagles
On Thursday, Tinubu, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, congratulated the squad on his official Twitter account.
He inspired the group to go on their impressive run, ultimately bringing honor to the country.

The message by Tinubu comes after Flying Eagles youngster Ibrahim Muhammad dedicates his first Flying Eagles goal to the president.
The Flying Eagles will now continue preparations as await their quarter-final opponents.
