The summer-long pursuit by United of the Fiorentina star resulted in a £10 million transaction that was completed in the closing moments of the transfer window.

Given the intensity of the Premier League, Ferdinand cautioned that Amrabat would need to adjust quickly to its requirements.

Ferdinand's words to Amrabat

The former Manchester United player expressed worries over Amrabat's disciplinary history on Vibe with Five, noting that he had accrued a startling 16 yellow cards for club and country last season.

Ferdinand, though, is optimistic that Amrabat will have the "common sense" to rapidly adjust to the ferocious speed of the Premier League.

Ferdinand said the following to Joel Beya on Vibe with Five as reported by Daily Mail, “All players need to adapt, and if he can do that quickly, I think he'll be fine. The game is quicker than Serie A, definitely. “

He even used the example of Casemiro, a player with experience who had discipline problems in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Amrabat spoke of his enthusiasm at joining the Red Devils by saying, “It is a huge honour to become a Manchester United player.

“I've had to be patient for this moment, but I'm someone who always listens to my heart, and now I am representing the club of my dreams.”

The 27-year-old Moroccan international who starred at the 2018 World Cup, will spend the season on loan with Erik Ten Hag.
