Man City prepare new Haaland contract to fight off Real Madrid
However, links with Real Madrid have started to resurface once more, as Los Blancos prepare for life after Karim Benzema.
In order to kill off any prospect of Haaland joining Real Madrid, The Sun have reported that Man City want to agree a new deal with Haaland worth £500,000 a week.
The new deal for Haaland would reportedly extend his stay by a further 12 months until 2028, and he is said to be very happy in Manchester at the moment, amid his sensational goalscoring form.
Man City have already tied Julian Alvarez down to an extension and the club would love to do same with their goalscoring machine, Erling Haaland.
