Manchester City throw away two points as late Kulusevski goal snatches draw for Tottenham
Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City were made to rue missed chances as they dropped points once again in the new campaign, this time against a resilient Tottenham at the Etihad Stadium.
Late Kulusevski goal rescues Tottenham
Despite numerous injuries to key players that have threatened to completely derail Tottenham’s season, Spurs were still able to give an incredible account of themselves with a dramatic 3-3 draw away to Manchester City.
Tottenham captain Heung-Min Son scored at both ends of the pitch, and Spurs also had goals from Giovani Lo Celso and Dejan Kulusevski to thank for a famous draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Jack Grealish also got on the scoresheet in the Premier League thriller, but their goals were not enough to secure more than a solitary point in the end.
Tottenham end spell of poor results
The draw meant that Tottenham escaped defeat for the first time in four Premier League matches after losing their last three games on the trot since they last won against Crystal Palace in October.
Spurs maintain their fifth position on the Premier League table after the draw against Manchester City and are only three points away from the Cityzens.
