Manchester United: End of the road for De Gea? Ten Hag delivers honest admission on goalkeeper's future
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea finished the season with the Premier League Golden Glove after producing 17 clean sheets but his season was riddled with errors and criticism.
He was at fault for several goals and his mistakes always seemed to be more costly and crushing each time.
A new contract for the 32-year-old has been on the table for a few months but a deal is yet to be agreed and 90min has reported that Ten Hag will prioritise other areas of the squad.
Ten Hag on De Gea's future
Asked about De Gea's future, Ten Hag was very blunt in his response.
"Yes, he will stay but I will not say he'll always be my number one because there must be competition in all positions in a club like Manchester United.
