Manchester United set to sign Watford defender Harry Amass

Manchester United are set to complete the signing of talented Watford defender Harry Amass.

Amass, 16 is expected to sign a long-term deal with Manchester United while Championship side Watford will receive compensation.

Amass is one of the most promising youngsters in English football at the moment and United have moved to secure the player on a reported 4-year-deal.

A left-back by trade, he made his England under-15 debut aged 14 in December 2021 and is now part of the England under-16 side.

The teenager also featured regularly for Watford’s under-18 side last season and put in impressive displays against Everton and Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup before stepping up to the under-21 team.
